Ideas please for where can we go SH or LH in May for 2 weeks with our 5yr old

Where and which hotel AI if possible for 2 weeks next May SH or LH dont mind but must be suitable for a 5 yr old

I would avoid the tropics at that time of year, so that rules out Thailand etc. what interests does your dc have. Sea, walking, train spotting, archery etc, all will have an impact on the advice you receive.

I fancy Dubai or Barbados but not sure if its right time to go?

Can anyone recommend family/kid friendly hotels please

We did Tenerife last April, the weather was lovely and warm but not too hot. (cardigans needed in the evenings). The 2 dd's loved playing on the beaches. There are lots of different resorts depending on what you like.

Dubai is very child friendly so any big(ish) hotel would be OK. You could also look into serviced appartments, there are many of those. Me and a friend went to Dubai with our babies and initially booked in for two nights, we eventually left 8 days later. Not as bad as it sounds, we had driven up from Oman.
