Dicken's World. What's it like???

I'm thinking of visiting Dicken's World in Kent during half-term with ds(9) and dd(4). I've just read some reviews on the net which were dire!!!!!
Has anyone here ever been there and if so, can I have your honest opinions please? We live about an hour and a half away, so it needs to be worth the car journey tbh.
Ds is studying the Victorians at the moment and just thought it might be useful for him but really not sure now!

Never heard of it! Seems a strange premis for a museum!

Think it's some sort of odd attraction that isn't really based on Dickens - from what I can gather from the net!
Really not sure it's worth the journey!!!
