4 or 5 Star Hotel in Tenerife?

Hoping to get away from DDs for 4 nights next month. Flights to Tenerife suit the best. As trip so short, willing to splurge a small bit on the hotel. Any recommendations, as like a poster below, the web just scares me! Rx

I haven't been but have been recommended the Princess Guyarmina hotel in Costa Adeje by 3 different people who dont know each other so presume it must be pretty good.

Think it was through Thompson Platinum.

have stayed in the Presidente through Thomson a few years ago and it was excellent.

Mediterranean Palace was lovely when we went last year.

Second recommendation of Med palace. Lovely pool for adults and kids, great breakfast buffet.
