Places to visit near Reading/ Newbury

Hi, we are holidaying near Reading/Newbury soon, other than legoland, can you recommend other places good to visit for toddlers. say within a 30/40 mile radius as we will have a car.

Beale Park which is close to Pangbourne for a walk along the river.

You can also sometimes get there by river cruise from Caversham.

Bucklebury Farm Park??

The Basingstoke Aquadrome is fun, if you like flumes etc (can share a double ring/raft with a toddler).

I was just coming to post 'Beale Park' too, are you going to see fireworks at Legoland? They are very good

There is the Living Rainforest just off J13 of the M4 which has been mentioned on here before.

Thatcham Discovery Centre is great for toddlers, and free!
