Yesterday DS and I went on a speed boat round the bay.

Our faces were like this

It was £5 for 15 minutes but easily compares with a good rollercoaster ride. There was screaming to be done. And we got a bit damp from the spray.

Well worth the money!

Also, there's a new chinese buffet type place which has opened. Called Cosmo. It cost £12.55 for DS and I to eat three courses of nice food, including drinks. Bargain. I think the lunch deal is not on Sundays though.

Have done this as a team bonding thing with the office. I agree it's a brilliant time.

We had the best day, it was great.

There was a National Fish Craft Championship going on [?!] and a fish handling stall. Dead fish. DS thought it was great! And we went on the tall ships, and on fairground rides, and had cheese from the French cheese stall, and watched a demonstration of Newfoundland dogs doing sea rescue stuff, (!) and DS had a go in a RNLI boat (fiddled with the radio and switched it on! Whooops!)

Fab though. And it was just me and DS.
