Good websites for booking a hotel in UK?

What websites does anyone use to book a hotel for a couple of nights in the UK. Most of the ones I found seem to be more for booking abroad.

I need it to be relatively cheap, so other than travelodges or premier inns where else can I look?

Many thanks

Thanks - but not having much success with those unfortunately.

I saw one on a thread here a few weeks ago that looked good but of course I can't find it now - can't even remember what the thread was about .

So any more???

travelsupermarketuk

trip advisor

lastminute.com

Could try putting 'cheap hotels in X' into google and seeing what it kicks out.

TBH, there is a chance that if those first 'big four' that I gave you didn't cover it, there isn't very much in the area you are looking within your budget.

You could try B and Bs and Guest houses instead perhaps?
