Vote please! Which holiday would you choose???

Background info -
Holiday will be 1 week mid September.
Will be me, DH and 2 DS's ages 3 years and 18 months

We could have a week self catering at a 3 star place in Portugal (Algarve) with pretty much guaranteed weather, a pool, beach, kids club etc
Also would be flight with no seat for 18 month old and pricey when we get there in terms of spending money as Euro v expensive.

OR

A week at a farm in Cornwall which only takes families with children under 5. Does daily activities with the children, toys everywhere, special early dinners, babysitting on demand etc
Would be cheaper in terms of spending money as breakfast and dinner included.
Downside here would be mammoth car journey there and back, which would cost money plus be stressful with the kids!
Weather could be shit.

POLL please - what should we choose???

Have just had long chat with pros and cons of both with DH and we have both decided on CORNWALL!!
Very excited!!! (can you tell its our first holiday?!?)

DH has come up with genius suggestion of breaking up the journey, by doing 3.5 hours then stopping for lunch somewhere, taking kids swimming and to park to stretch their legs and then doing next 3.5 hours much later in day OR leaving at 7pm so they both sleep, driving till midnight, crashing at cheap travelodge and then doing last 2 hours in the morning.

We do 3 hr journeys to see my family about once a month (3hr there on sat am and 3 hr back sun pm) and the kids are fine for that. no bother at all, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that if we break up both journeys we'll not be too stressed out by all the travelling!

It was close though - I just counted... 8 to Algarve, 9 to Cornwall!

W'hay,you'll have fab time and def split the driving and do consider driving thro' night.
The littlies will have a fab time and you and dh can relax having child free suppers etc-sound great
