hand luggage question - toiletries

So, am going for a long weekend so just carry on bag.

Now have realised could be tricky with all the toiletries required!! Have got some miniature shampoos/conditioner/shower gel etc.

What do I do about contact lens cleaner and sun tan lotion which can't get in 100ml?

Anyone any experience please?

Oh and also - what about makeup? Does it have to be in a clear plastic bag too?

If you are taking it as only hand luggage, you will have to buy it when you get there. They will make you discard anything over the 100ml.

Every airport I've ever been in the UK has at least one Boots per terminal after security so presumably you can just get it there.

poopscoop · 09/06/2009 23:19

oh yes, you can buy it the other side which is all a bit daft really.

Or go to boots beforehand and get several of those little clear bottles and decant your fave products at home to take with you.

Remember if you buy it in a large size at Boots on the way out, you have to either do it again on the way back or chuck it all out.........
