Advice re Keycamp/Siblu/ Al Fresco/P and V etc

Any advice please. Looking for a summer break(yes we've left it late !), possibly North France , possibly Lake Garda but fairly open to suggestions, even in UK.

Not sure if we would love or hate the likes of Keycamp,Siblu,Al Fresco,P and V though. As a rough comparison we liked the place we stayed at last year (courtesy of MN ) - complex of about 100 varied small cottages in Vendee near beach - but were off peak and it was only about 25% occupied and can imagine in high season it would have been too much as only one pool and accommodation fairly close set. Liked Bosinver Farm the year before (a dozen or so cottages ,spread out with pool and activity rooms).

Kids(11 & 7) not desperate for company or clubs but like zip wires and climbing/adventure playgrounds, beach and forest. Would prefer to avoid lively and vast so would any of these campsite/mobile home places be likely to suit us or should we rule them out? Any recommendations ? Also as they all seem to use the same sites, what makes the difference !

ring them and ask
often they have been.
the west coast of France has all that BUT will be busy in summer.

Large sites often good fun for teens in evening, french style games rooms, nice bar etc
