Does anyone have experience of a villa in a residential area?
I have been on the internet so much looking for the 'perfect' holiday.
I want everything!! beach, pool (communal or private), relaxing but buzzy. own space but entertainment at night....?
Is a villa holiday on a residential area, 20 mins walk from beach, going to be 'too quiet'? we have 3 teen age boys. They are not particularly crying out for entertainment but still its nice to have something to look forward to at night other than the local restaurant. On the other hand....

I love the idea of the villa space and privacy, own pool, own barbeque!!

Any tips gratefully received. (I cannot believe I am no longer able to make a decision)

where do you want to go? Any ideas which country?
We regularly stay in a villa in Florida having previously stayed in apartments and hotels and now we love the freedom and space that a villa provides. We go to Orlando which is obviously not near the beach but I think there are some lovely privately owned villas in residential areas in Naples (gulf coast of Florida) which is really nice. I often see people recommending a website called Dibbs something that apparently gives lots of tips. Don't know all the details but maybe try googling it
