SOMEWHERE 'DIFFERENT' FOR MY DAD TO TAKE MY MAM FOR HER 50th...ANY IDEAS???

Hi, Its my mams 50th next month. We've been looking for a while for somewhere a bit different for my mams 50th.

Its her birthday next month so we need to get our skates on and book something!

Going away is my dad's present to my mam. All we've come up with is New York or Venice . I would love to find somewhere a bit special. Something with a bit of a twist. Maybe staying on a yacht or something??? I cant think......

We havent got a set budget as such. He's thinking £500 ish. Myself and my brother will give her spending money as her gift. It will be for min of 3 nights max of 5.

Is that £500 per person? Rome is nice. I am sure you could get a deal on a short Med cruise for that sort of budget. Or maybe a more unusual cruise - this for example.

Will have a think for a few more ideas. Rome and a cruise don't seem terribly inspiring ideas, sorry!

Yes i meant £500 each. She's been most places already so we just want something a bit different.

I think she'd like a spa break so looking into that. Just not sure how much my dad would enjoy that
