Macmillian has paid for us to get away for a while in June, and we really want to make some lovely days out for the girls as a family. We are staying in Christchurch but can drive, so anywhere within 30 mintues is fine.
So far we have splash land, alice in wonderland place, a woodland walk (cant rememeber the name) and beach.
Our girls are 6years and 20months. Most things are ok for Darren to do.
Dont mind paying for a good day out.

Walk in the New Forest?
Bournemouth Pier
Little train thingy along the Front from Bournemouth to Boscombe
Boat ride
There is an aquarium in Bournemouth but I don't know what it is like.

I'm guessing that the woodland walk is Moors Valley which is a great day out.

Crab fishing at Mudeford Quay then catch the ferry over to the beach which has a cafe.

Boat trip to Brownsea Island.

Farmer Palmers is great for your DC's age though maybe a little far.

There is a model village in Wimborne which could be combined with Honeybrook farm, ice cream at Barford farm and I think it will probably be pick your own strawberry season at Glen Farm in Holtwood.

I forgot Beaulieu and I think there is an Otter or something place in the New Forest

Mrs P, you may mean the New Forest Otter and Owl Sanctuary near Totton, very nice, reasonably priced and quite low key and easy going. You can hand-feed deer there.
Monkey World is fun, but probably a bit far.
Take the chain ferry from Poole across to the National Trust's Shell Bay, it's a lovely beach.
Go to Burley village and look at the weirdy witchy shops then have a lurvely cream tea.
