Questions about Disneyland Paris....Sorry I know it has been asked lots!

Hi I have just booked for me, dh, ds and dd to go to Disneyland Paris for ds birthday we are getting on Eurostar and not telling him where we are going until we get off at the other end, he is going to be 4 so will be majorly excited in a confined space otherwise!!
I have been through the dlp website and have a couple of questions that I can't find the answers to so was hoping you may be able to help me out!
We are going half board plus somebody has given me the impression that we can 'upgrade' to cafe mickey (not on half board plus option) and just pay the difference from the face value of our voucher. Does anyone know if this is possible and also if so what the 'face value' of a half board plus voucher is? Has anybody been half board when you go to one of the listed restaurants can you have any starter, main, dessert off the menu or is it a set menu for those on the half board plan?
We are going for 4 nights and as we have a 3 year old and a 1 year old we may want time out during the day. We wanted to use one of the pools at a disney hotel (we are staying at Santa Fe and don't have one) is this allowed or do you have to show hotel id to get in the pool?
I am sure there will be more questions as I go along but if you could help me with tese I would be very greatful TIA

Miss Sunny - I'm sure you must wish you'd never offered, but could I please have one of your guides too?

maple leafs fan @ hotmail dot co dot uk

but without any of the spaces.

Thank you in advance - it sounds like a great guide.

Are you a travel agent? Do you get a commission if we book through you rather than go direct? or do we have to be local to you?

Also, I'm finding it hard to use the booking system to get a quote, it won't let me change the date at all. Is this a common problem does anyone know? or is it just having a bad day?

sundew · 17/05/2009 20:49

missSunny - please may I have a copy as well - we are going next week (both my dds very excited but me and dh are a little worried at how much it is going to cost us!).

We are camping about 20 minutes away and have got 2 day passes.

My email address is [email protected]

OFSTEDoutstanding · 18/05/2009 10:07

Ok Misssunny feel really bad now that you have been asked so many times for your brochure but mind you it is excellent and I am so excited. Just want to run something past you as I think I am all sorted now! We have decided on the restaurants we are going to eat at and is it right we can use our half board plus voucher to pay for cafe mickey and then just pay the difference in cash? We want to book walts during a parade but do you know when they are usually? Also on the first day we are not expecting to do loads as we get there at 1.30 and by the time we have checked in we thought we would go for a meal and ease the kids in slowly. Do you know roughly what time the parks open til in mid Sept? It doesn't say on site yet and I was wondering whether to book a meal in one of the parks orif they close really early. Also have looked through your guide and the disney site and was wondering if you could help me with one last question? I am going with a 4 and 1 year old so we wont be doing buffalo bills or the hurricane disco, is there anything else to do in the evenings entertainment wise or wll the parks be open long enough to come back to hotel and go to bed? Sad as it sounds we are used to Haven and Butlins so used to evening entertainment was wodering if the hottels put anything on or if they just assume everyone will be too tired! Thanks again

Miss Sunny

Thank you for taking the time to answer my questions - the most important one was about warming milk up and you have really put my mind at rest over that.

I got the guide and its great.

Thank you

Hi MissSunny - can I be really cheeky and ask you to email me a copy of your guide as well please? We are going next week, but are staying in a chalet which we believe is about a mile from the Disney site and have a two day hopper ticket. I have been trying to get as much info about it as I can, particularly as we are not staying in the Disney hotel.

My email address is [email protected]

thanks ever such a lot

MrsGokWan · 18/05/2009 23:30

Sorry MissSunny but please can you send me a guide to I am saving to take my boys as a joint birthday present next year. Which is the best time of year to go? Was trying to do some research on the DLP about what was the best hotels, deals etc and was getting thoroughly confused by it all.

tigerfeet2006 @ yahoo dot co dot uk

You are an absolute star.

woodenchair · 20/05/2009 09:45

Hello MissSunny - I'm going to be cheeky as well and ask if you could send me a copy of your guide? I'm trying to convince DP that we should go either end of this year or during next year before ds starts school.

pinkdigit @ hotmail . com

Thank you!

Another begging message for your guide Miss Sunny

I am hoping to go in an upcoming half term as a surprise for the dcs, it has been a tough couple of years and they all deserve a proper break and some good fun!

My question (to add to the growing list) is, can you book Buffalo Bill before you go? This was what made our trip last time we went and we stumbled on it by accident, I don't want to risk missing out this time, the dc still talk about it 5 years on!

My email addy is kingcanuteiam AT hotmail DOT com

Thank you!

Hi Sunny

Would you mind emailing your guide to me too?
I will cat my email add to you.

We are going next week, first time, with DD (8yrs) & DS (5yrs).

Do you have any experience of Paris Beauvais airport? Istill need to book bus/taxi. It seems a bit further out than CDG but it was much cheaper for us (from Shannon).

we have booked Sequoio with h/b plus option. Can we use vouchers to upgrade to Buffalo Bill meal during the show? thanks so much, you are a dote. xx
