holiday with a teen

Can anyone recommend somewhere hot for us to take a 9 and 13 year old. Am conscious that my teen needs to be active and kept busy. Budget is £2thousand for a week.

Hi - What kind of activities do they like? If it's very hot, will they still feel like taking part?

We discovered the Alps in summer a couple of years ago (our DS are just 10 and 14) - they loved it and there are any number of activities such as mountain-biking, cycling, swimming in pools and lakes, zip-wiring, white-water rafting, paragliding etc - the climate in the mountains does seem to make things pleasanter - it's still hot (in the 80's last July/August for us) but the air is fresher and it's not as draining. If this might suit, I can send you more info - would be well within budget too
