Does anyone have any recommendations or tips about places to eat / visit with a one year old in Normandy? We are off there in a few weeks with ds and are keen to have an enjoyable trip!
Thanks.

just returned from our trip to normandy. Places we visited from dieppe included fecamp Rouen(unfortunatley the cathedral was closed ) We had a look at the Bayeux tapesttry which was impressive and the American war cemetery. We spent the second week on the cherbourg peninsula- lovely area very unspoilt- liked Barfleur, St vaast, goury and the far w north westof peninsula. Stopped at Honfleur on way back - very pretty. The big black mark was we had to leave a 102 euro deposit . The gite was lovely with a sea view and up to that point the owners very helpful. on the las morning the lady came at 9am as arranged and started suggesting I hadnt cleaned it enough. I had spent 2-3 hours the night before. She started picking on petty things like the cushions on the settee needed straightening, a small bit of dust on the bedroom floor. It was very upsetting. She insisted on keeping 30 euros.I dont know if anybody else has had this sort of experience with french gites. I would have recommended the gite up to this point.
Shame as it spoilt an otherwises good holiday
