I've always done travellers cheques and taken some euros, but I was look at the moneysaving expert forum and he was talking about credit cards and debit cards and what the best/cheapest way to do it was - and I got completely confused .

What do you do?

We're going to a Siblu campsite.

I'd have to check but I'm pretty sure we don't pay anything for the account and so we only pay transfer fees. Dunno what those are but I think it's a fixed amount per transaction so we have a policy of just transferring whatever we are likely to need for a year into that account and leaving it there.

They have charges listed in their website, I was just wondering how much it works out, they seem to charge for debit cards etc as well as a monthly fee for having the account of 50p roughly a month and 50 euros if you dont use the account...

Yes we got a letter saying they were introducing charges this year, but I don't think they apply to us. Don't know if that is because of other linked issues (mortgage etc) or because we have a cashcard rather than a visacard or what ... It's been fine so far.
