thinking of staying in a private apartment as can get flights for £200 for me, hubby and ds.

But as it will be a private, residential apartment, where can we go, what can we do once we get there to occupy our 4year old?

There is loads!

Not far away is Benelmadena. There is an amusement park called Tivoli there, a Sea Life Centre, zoo and cable car.

In Fuengirola itself there is a zoo I think, castle, market, aqua park and of course beach activities.

Fuengirola is very good for families, have been there loads as DHs family have a villa there.

The beach is very nice and there are plenty of other activities, water park, Tivoli park and Zoo all close by. There are also lots of good supermarkets (Euromarket being the best, and Dunnes for English foods).

In the main town plaza, there is a lovely church and a great cafe which sells wonderful coffee and churros (like long, thin doughnuts which kids love).
