Olympic Holidays/Grecian Bay

Hi just need some reassurance. I booked a holiday with olympic holidays via the holiday hypermarket website on late Wed night. I have received a booking confirmation from hypermarket but no confirmation from olympic which they said would be in the post with all the details. Nothing has gone out of my account either - we are going in two weeks so had to pay the full amount. Are Olympic good tour operators - will the holiday go through ok. The thing is that every other tour operator I checked stated that there were no flights available and that the flight we are booked on is fully booked.

Also since booking, we are going to Grecian Bay in Ayia Napa, I have read quite a few bad reviews about the hotel and feel really uneasy about it. I just have an overwhelming fear that we are either not getting the holiday or we've been ripped off! Does anyone have any experience with the Grecian Bay?

I would ring up the hotel directly and check you are booked in and do the same with the flight.

I went to Grecian Bay once many years ago and it was fine. I have known quite a few UK Greek-Cypriots often go there, so it can't be that bad. (They do know the place, after all!)

Thanks Stephla. the money has now gone out of the account but still waiting for the confirmations to arrive in the post. If i don't get anything by Tues, I will do as you suggest. You've made me feel a lot better about the hotel
