Have no idea where we should stay....Any advice much appreciated!!!

Hi lovely people,

Just after some advice as my daughter needs to be within equal distance of central Norfolk, Central Cambridge and the Norfolk Coast for three days Sat/Sun/Mon and so we are looking for a nice Hotel somewhere in the Kings Lynn/Thetford area???? I have no knowledge of this part of the UK at all really and so don't know where to start. Do any mumsnetters hail from/visit these parts and have any recommendations?

Mango,your thread would get more of a response if you mentioned what you need in the title.

There are some lovely villages on the north norfolk coast. You might find some lovely B&Bs there. Kings lynn isn't the most pretty- I'd probably avoid it. What is your budget? How old is your daughter? Would she appreciate the beaches and seaside towns? Cromer would be where I would start looking.

Thanks for this - have had a look at Cromer which looks really nice - I will have to look into how long it would take us to get to Cambridge as I am taking dd (8) there on Mon. Having said that dd2 (7) and dad and dog won't be coming so might be nice for them to be near beach.

Just have to hope for some sunshine now!!
