Overnight stop near St Malo- any ideas?

The ferry arrives late at night, the final destination is in southern Brittany ie too far to then drive. Does anyone know of a suitable, sensibly priced hotel of some sort nearby, family of 4 with 2 primary aged DCs?

Think we stayed at the Oceania in St Malo, but not the old town area. It was one of the few places that we could get a family room.

The old town is lovely.

Unless you want to go into St Malo, then just pick one of the roadside IBIS/Campanile etc.

When we driving to Southern Brittany, we stayed in St Malo overnight (we arrived there at teatime), and we picked a traditional hotel within the city walls. It was lovely.
