Is the weather in PICARDY awful?

Was about to book a holiday in the St Vallery area for the end of July. But I looked at the weather online and it came up with an average of 17degrees . Plus it said that the cold wind blows in from the Atlantic.

Doesn't sound too good.

We stayed in Fousenant last year in May and had amazing weather for the time of year. dh isn't as keen to drive that far this year so that's why we have picked here.

Anywhere in between came up so expensive.

Any views, experience?

My in-laws live in Picardy. We sometimes go to St Valery for day trips when we are visiting them. The weather is like the South of England. There is no guarantee of sun. You can get gorgeous hot weather in the summer but equally it can be cool and wet.
