travel cots - how long have you used them for?

23-month old DS sleeps well in a standard size travel cot, but DH starting to freak out that he will climb out/tip it over. The spec for the cot says it can be used up to 24 mths, but I guess that should be taken with a pinch of salt. Any recommendations/thoughts? He's still in a cot at home.

email manufacturer - mine gives a height limit, not an age limit (don't know where they are though!)

we stopped using a travel cot when they moved into beds - all just over 2 years. think would depend on if they are climbers and are temped to get out

ds was fine in one well beyond 2 , dd could climb out at 20 months. I don't think there is a defined recommendation tbh. If he is happy in it then leave him.

Thanks for advice - he sleeps in a Grobag so climbing hasn't occured to him yet. We'll go on using it until he gets too long/does find out how to lever his way out!
