Please help me arrange a weekend for my mums 50th - Derbyshire?

My dad was meant to be sorting this out, but bless him, he has left it all very late and is now asking for my help.

We want to go away, 6 adults and a baby for a weekend at the end of April (after Easter holidays).

Ideally it would be in or around Derbyshire as on the Sunday we want to invite some family over for a lunch, whether it be out or at the cottage/hotel.

With it being a 50th we would like it to be special but my mum is a bargain hunter and would be upset if we paid a fortune.

Personally I think a cottage would be ideal, its just finding one nice enough, baby friendly-ish and in the right area, that does short breaks.

Any ideas?

Hi Pamelat -

This is exactly the kind of occasion which my company (Girl Thursday) specialises in fixing.

We can work with you and your dad to make sure your mum has a very special 50th birthday celebration. We can source the accommodation for you, organise where in the area you can go for lunch or help you arrange a special lunch at the cottage. We know where locally you will be able to get great ingredients (usually locally sourced).

Using Girl Thursday will even appeal to your mother's sense of thrift! Although the service does of course have a cost, clients usually find that the overall cost is in line with their original budget or they save money overall on what they were prepared to pay. You will be getting value for money in your weekend break and really making the most of every penny you spend.

The services available start at advice and range right through to organising every detail of transport, entertainment, food etc.

Do get in touch if you think Girl Thursday can help - [email protected]

If I don't hear from you, I hope you have a brilliant time!
