Heathrow - how long from landing to arrivals

Hello - does anyone know how long on average it takes to from flight landing time to arrivals hall? I'm trying to time an airport pickup - passengers arriving at Heathrow from Sydney/Singapore tomorrow morning! I was thinking of getting there an hour after the flight lands - is that about right? I'm hoping someone will know!!

Personally I would allow a bit less - it can sometimes be quite quick to get through (maybe 30-45 mins).

Also if you look here you can type in your flight details and see what the estimated time of arrival is - if arriving tomorrow morning, it's probably already taken off so they have an idea what time it'll get here.

Should say though that I am a compulsively early person - others might think an hour after landing is perfectly fine

30-45 minutes is about normal at Heathrow. You have to keep an eye on those long haul flights too as they can be significantly early

It normally takes about an hour from touchdown if they're flying economy. However, any time I've actually allowed an hour it's taken less time than that (any time I've arrived less than an hour after it's landed, it's taken an hour, of course). I'd be inclined to be at the arrivals gate 45 minutes after landing (and as others have said, check the current prediction of landing time as they can be significantly early (or late).

Thanks! I marvel at mn and how there's always someone who knows the answer. Luckily I live about 40 mins away so as soon as it lands I'll be in the car. It's parents arriving back from visiting my sister and they will be knackered so don't want to keep them waiting!! Yes, it's left Singapore already but is running over 2 hours late at the mo so maybe less of an early start than I thought!
