Another Thomasland thread!

Thinking of taking my DS to Thomasland for his 3rd birthday. We are in Scotland so it looks like the easiest way to get there would be to fly to Birmingham. Can anyone tell me how easy it would be to go from Birmingham airport to Tamworth? Probably stay at the Travlodge near Tamworth too. Any info greatly appreciated!!

Sorry but my 4yo DS was completely underwhelmed by Thomasland ... it's much smaller than we'd expected and the queues were hideous. We're an hour away but wouldn't bother going back.

I too was very about this place. Probably because we went on the coldest day in history and it pissed it down with rain. And the food was shit and there was nowhere nice to sit. And everything was just a bit...meh. I am amazed people would think of flying to it tbh.

Plenty of people have raved about it but I suppose it's not everyones cup of tea. Nothing ventured nothing gained..........
