We went on the celebration ship around the Canaries, Madeira and Morocco. I wasnt sure what to expect but it was fab, the food was lovely and plentiful, the drinks were reasonable, the kids loved the kids club which gave us a bit of peace ! There was a good balance of formal and informal dining and a good mix of people on the ship of all ages. I would really recommend it as a family holiday.

My sister has been on a couple of cruises and is always raving on about them - can I be cheeky and ask you how much it was?? Also what age do the kids clubs go up to?

For 2 adults and 2 children it cost almost exactly 2 grand for 7 nights that includes flights, transfers , food (24 hour!) and entertainment. The kids club with Thomson goes up to 12 years old but they had activities for teens to meet up at too.

Please may I ask what was it like when you were in port? DH imagines that you'd be ferried like cattle to main tourist areas and if you stayed on the ship you'd just be able to hear the cargo machines working. We're looking at a cruise for this summer but Dh has reservations as you can tell.

TIA
