twycross zoo.. will we enjoy it??

dh and i want somewhere to take the kids on monday for a half term day out and we are considering twycross zoo..

any opinions? will ds (14) and dd (8) enjoy it, and is it values for money at £35 for a family ticket (its about 2 hours drive from our house)

any help appreciated

It's a very nice zoo. Gorillas, chimps, orangutans, bonobos are all fabulous, and housed in enclosures that look exciting and humane. DSs were very jealous of their climbing ropes.

Elephants lovely too. And there is a nice play area.

I went there and it was ace. The gibbons were brilliant!
