Flying to Tenerife with a 12 MO - tips please!

Hi,

I'm flying alone to Tenerife at the end of the month with my DD aged 12 months. I'm a bit worried about keeping her entertained for the 4+ hours on the plane and wondered if anyone can offer tips and advice.

I'd buy a couple of new toys, that she hasn't seen before, and take some snacks with you too - that always seems to help. Books are always good. When I took dd at that age, she spent most of the time trying to stand on my lap and waving at the other passengers - it was fine and everyone was sweet to her. Have a lovely time!
