How on earth can you get to Majorca or Menorca in December? Or where can I go for winter sun?

I can go from any London airport. I just can't find any flights. Is it not possible?

Anyone work in a travel agency out there?

bmi have flights from Heathrow to Majorca in December

Its not very warm over there at that time of year and most of the holiday resorts are pretty much closed.

The Canaries, Dubai,Egypt, and the Caribbean are better bets for nice weather.

Menorca is seasonal. It shuts at the end of October. Opens up for the season in the spring. Don't know if Majorca is the same, but suspect it might be.

You mean December 09? Most airlines won't have those schedules out yet.

But smurfgirl is right, you need to go further south than that.

We went to Lanzarote in November and it was 24-26 degrees - seems a looooooong time ago now

Go to the Caribbean Fimbo. Lovely and hot and not too humid in Winter either.

I quite fancied going somewhere out of season for a week. The dc are happy to play on the beach whatever the weather.

Lanzarote might be the answer, I fear the Caribbean would be too long a flight for ds.

Thank you for your help.
