Can I still fly if ticket booked without first name.

My mother has booked a flight for me on Virgin using my middle and sur name. I;ve asked the travel agent to change it, but she's not sure if Virgin will. They'll still let me fly, won't they?

No. Sorry to be unhelpful but if your ticket doesn't match your passport name exactly then they won't let you fly. Most airlines will let you make small changes to the name for an administrative fee. I'd call Virgin directly if I were you to straighten this out. Good luck.

Thats what I thought, although my mother who is arranging the trip doesn't seema atall concerned.

I'm a bit miffed with her - you'd think she would know what my name is!
