Science Museum London tomorrow. Any ideas where to take DS for lunch please?

Like to take him for a nice lunch somewhere within walking distance of the Science Museum.

Any ideas please?

Between South Ken tube and the museums there are lots of nice places - from chains like Bella Pasta and Neros to local cafes - also along Brompton Road (past the V&A) there are lots of places to eat. Best to do lunch as early as you can though cos it's always busy with tourists and office workers in that area!

I like the deep blue cafe in the science museum itself - quite an interesting design, spacey lighting. Food's ok but not gastronomic.

Agree with adad, deep blue cafe is quite nice and children are fascinated by the wall design. I think it is pricey but it is south ken, everything is pricey! The cafe is also normally pretty empty.

thank you all! Last time we went to the museum we had a lunch in the cafe (cant remeber the name definately not Deep Blue) which was 'a shove it in as people are waiting for the chair experience'. He likes to go out for food/enjoys going to restaurants so will have a look at the Deep Blue Cafe or walk towards the South Ken tube and see if there is anything he fancies
