Having a naughty weekend away next week and was interested in any personal recommendations for great ( romantic)places to visit and dine in. Nearly 40 yrs old so I'll give the night clubs a miss.

Oh if you like asian food you really must try Ithaca, on John Dalton street so also near Panacea for pre dinner cocktails. Ithaca is new and a bit of a posers paradise BUT the food is divine and the service is excellent, worth going for lunch too (no I don't work for them!!) Other nice coktails at Socio Rehab in the Northern Quarter and Walrus also in NQ (maybe a slightly younger crowd too). Have fun but remember to bring au umbrella as it's bound to rain!

Ooh ooh ooh, if it's Chinese New Year weekend, then all you need to do is enjoy the parade and celebrations: see here

You'll have a lovely time.
