Padstow is lovely and you can hire bikes/trailer for a jaunt along the Camel Trail. Not sure what else would be open yet but there are a couple of National Trust places nearby.

If you get a chance - go along to Holywell Bay. Very secluded but beautiful beach surrounded by sand dunes/caves/rock pools etc

You should get some leaflets from the local tourist info place. If you can pop along to "Old MacDonalds Farm". Really good for the little ones, big trampolines for bouncing on, ride on toys, carts, animals, great cream teas. We went twice.

The Zoo in Newquay is good and ours always like the shire horse centre (Crealy) which is a bit like chessington before it lost the zoo part animals fun barns and a few bigger rides. Crealy Adventure Park

Thanks for all the suggestions.

Did not manage to do them all but good excuse to go back.
Managed to teach both girls to swim as they had an indoor pool there - also minding other children difficult to take them normally!
