Can anyone recommend a large villa with pool for 6 adults & 5 kids?

Not worried about where as long as it's hot and not in the middle of nowhere. Just would prefer to go somewhere recommended as it's first family holiday abroad.

Kids are aged from 4 to 9.

Any tips would be appreciated.

A couple of years ago we went on hol to Corfu with a group of friends. We booked a lovely villa with pool through a company called villaplus.com All the villas are lovely and come with private pool, pool table, barbeque etc. They have a large selection in various countrys and some are very large villas so hopefully you should find something suitable. Good luck and have a fab holiday.

We've got a villa in the South of France (Languedoc region near Beziers) that sleeps 11. It's quietly situated in a village, walking distance to shops and approx 15 minutes drive to sandy beaches. There's a large private pool and everyone who has stayed there so far says it's very well equipped especially for families and ideal for 2 or 3 families holidaying together.

If guests don't want to drive there then there are 4 airports within 1 hour's drive and another 3 within 2 hours drive all with "low cost" flights from UK.

pempe-that villa is lush , how much is the rent?

I think it mentions approximate rents on the website, but to be honest, we're expecting a difficult year out here in Greece tourism-wise this year, so he may have dropped his prices a bit.

It was only finished last year and he is obsessive about detail - it has the latest hi-fi system with speakers in every room, including out by the pool, jacuzzi in a walled herb garden, spectacular furniture, bathrooms etc.

I honestly honestly am not on commission for the guy, I just love this villa!

Do bear in mind that wherever you go, its worth booking it ASAP. All the good places go very quickly.

We only have a 6 weeks remaining from 1st May through to the end of September.

Pempe, I need that villa!! I am looking for two weeks beginning the 18th of Sept for 4 adults, and 4 small children - would that be possible and if so for what price. Also are the local beaches sandy and is a car essential?
