Majorca - is it unbearably hot in August?

I want to go, kids will be 6,4 and 1. Found a lovely apartment, near Portals Nous.

We went to Menorca in August and it was lovely - nice and warm but with a cool breeze all the time (because of being on an island). Maybe 25/26 degrees average? It was beautiful - my perfect summer climate! And you didn't get that horrible headachey sunstroke feeling, because of the breeze. It did rain some days though!

ta badger very close to booking now in that case, anyone else been to majorca/ menorca then?

We went in August-it was hot but we had plenty of shade.

Maybe we were just lucky but the hotel had a pool with chairs under trees and there were trees on the beach. I am not suited to hot weather and I was fine. I have been to Malta in August and that really was hot.

Me neither, like it hot but not too hot, but last year after cold weather in northern france, we want sun!!
