Where to stay in Edinburgh?

Anyone any ideas? I saw St James's Court on here but we've been quoted £240 for 2 nights and the kids are in the lounge on sofa beds for that!

Ideally we'd like something a bit cheaper!

What sort of thing are you after? There are a couple of Travel Inns, one very new and smart looking, and quite central. I think they do family rooms, and have cots, but I think you just end up on the corporate website here so you might need to try and make a booking before you find out. The one I'm thinking of is the Lauriston Place one. I don't know if that's the kind of thing you're looking for though?
