Wanting to travel with dh as he is working away alot atm....

Looked at various hotel sites on the web (hotelrooms.com etc) but unable to find accomodation for next weekend (14-16th nov).

Any ideas of hotels in or local to York..? Ideally 4/5*...

Everywhere seems to be booked..
TIA X

I stayed here a couple of years ago

And it was lovely, clean, fabulous room and within walking distance to the main part of the city.

Sorry if they are booked up.

shhhh here you go

I live just on the outskirts of York (about 8 miles from the centre), if you are here through the week, perhaps we could meet for a coffee?

Hote Du Vin
Middlethorpe Hall

thanks everyone. Forgot to add that the trouble we have is that we need a family room/suite as dd (3.6) & ds(20 mths) is with us....

Yesterday only the du vin had availablility but wanted £330 for a suite per night...

I have passed info onto dh so he can speak to his client about rates we gets for expenses iykiwm...we could possibly pay the difference to stay at the du vin as it does look devine .

kittimoth,thanks but defo want 4/5*,esp with lo's. .

Hi bella, what a lovely idea .
ATM Im hoping to go over fri and entertain the lo's while dh works (also sat) BUT If we all can't get a room we may end up with the lo's & I just stopping sunday night and spending mon there as well iykiwm....Can't remember which, but one of the hotels has a room suitable sun/mon. Will shout if it changes x
