Anyone tried a Thames Dinner Cruise?

Thinking about this for DH's birthday - only 10 days away - maybe I'd need to book further in advance? Sounds nice but a teeny bit concerned about the 'big band' - is it a bit cheesy? Maybe we're not old enough for this yet?!

I organised one years ago for a group of colleagues from around the world. They loved it! The food was really good too.

It was great as a corporate event, and my foreign colleagues loved it as all the London skyline was lit up. Not sure about it otherwise though - might be a touch cheesy. There was a band, but they stopped after a while and there was piped music which built to a crescendo as we reached Tower Bridge!

I enjoyed it at the time!
