weekend away with 1yr and 3yr old, poss Whitby, accommodation needed, Any ideas?

In need of a break. Would like quite nice accommodation but must be child friendly! We don't want to travel more than 2hrs from Derby and we would like to come home feeling refreshed and looked after. Does anywhere like this exist?

I stay at the langley hotel in whitby with my 5yr old daughter when I go. I love whitby - its a seaside resort thats not too commercialised.

The hotel has family rooms and a bar downstairs which is quite happy to have young children in late. Next to the bar is a childrens playroom with lots of toys.
The hotel is very central so its within walking distance of the main centre.
