never been, but have friend who has and I know from what she said that some areas of the hotels are not available to children due to gambling laws - ridiculous really for you! can't imagine a 10 month old hooked to a slot machine LOL

dd2 loves the fruities. grrrrrrrrrrr.

janeybops · 18/02/2005 21:21

I wnet before I had kids and they aren't allowed in the casino bits. As you seem to have to walk through the casino to get to the hotel in most cases I would suspect you may have problems!??? Not exactly sure as this was when I was childfree and didn't notice this sort of thing!

kbaby, have a look on www.tripadvisor.com
type in las vegas child friendly in the search to see reviews - some hotels are child friendly apparently

I went as a child, I seem to remember you can't use any of the machines but you can walk through them (well I did!!)

RTKangaMummy · 18/02/2005 23:49

Children are NOT allowed to stop by or near tables or slot machines in hotels

They are allowed to go through past slot machines

well you cant really go anywhere without them anyway

We went with DS when he was 6 years

Had no probs

There are lots of kids about. I was there with my 2 year old. He is not allowed new machines tables etc. My hubby had to go down at night on his own to loose a few dollars. With a 10 month you are not going to be wanting to be around the machines all the time. There is so much to see in each hotel you will have a ball. Which hotel are you staying at? We stayed at Caesars Palace.
Have a good one.

Took DS3 when he was 3 (10 years ago) & had a wonderful time. they aren't allowed to stop by the machines but can walk past them, no problem. All his food was free because they considered him to be a baby, & everyone made a fuss of him. He loved Las Vegas!

Thanks. I went 4 years ago and stayed in circus circus which did have children but being childless at the time I didnt really pay much attention to anywhere else. Were going back now to get married at cesars but were staying at madalay bay. We dont like gambling anyway and are going for the sites more than anything but after what my friend said I had visions of us being avoided by everyone because we have dd with us.
