where to stay for disney

I have been to disney many times before I had children. now want to take dd (aged 3) and DH who has never been next year.

I don't fancy a disney hotel, don't mind hiring a car either. but where to stay? any recommendations?? thinking of these vaction / villa homes??

We stayed here and it was absolutely gorgeous. Way out of our usual price range but DH is a genius at bargains and managed to get us a great deal via other websites - and an upgrade to our hire car. The condos were quite large and very comfortable and the pools were very child-friendly.

Even though I got an awful chest infection and had to stay in bed for 3 days, I still had a great time.
