I have my fingers crossed that we will at last get some proper summer weather when we go next weekend...

I am bringing macs anyway - but wondered if I can still get away with shorts and tshirts for the dcs or will I need warmer stuff? (will bring a couple of fleeces each too...)

Just got back from La Palmyre yesterday (Charente Marimtime). Weather was lovely - warm but not too hot. It rained quite a lot but only really at night and early morning.
Am not happy to be back

usually in france its ok with shorts and flipflops under your pacamac!! as long as you dont mind getting wet feet

Here in the South of France, there are a few clouds but it's still very hot.
