Lisbon with 5 yr old for one week - what to do?

Am going to stay with a really good friend who lives a bit out of Lisbon for one week, in one weeks times.

I am taking my son who is 5 yrs and we would like suggestions of things to do. We like arty things, browsing and things like museums/zoo/aquariums etc.

I have tried to find things but am finding it hard.

Also is there a gay part?

Parc de Nacoes has a fabulous Aquarium.

Train out to Estoril or Cascais for seaside.

Train out to Sintra - gorgeous setting, nice Toy museum, and two nice palaces to see (one of which is central, the other one you take a bus up the hill).

tram ride through central areas and/or to Belem.

ferry trip across river ?Tagus.

going on elevadors (funiculars/lifts) - there are 4 IIRC in central area.
