Pre-wedding treats in Dubai?

I'm organising a surprise hen do for a friend who lives in Dubai - a few of us are flying over there for a couple of days towards the end of the year. Any suggestions as to daytime and evening things we could do? Most of us have never been, so sightseeing things are fine. I'm thinking more along the lines of spa days and afternoon tea than L-plates and strippers, of course!

Okay - afternoon tea at the burj al arab - no other place will top it.
Take your pick from spas...
same for shopping....
there are 'dune bashing' dessert tours ar 'dhow cruises' to dfo on an evening - some fabulous restaurants....
get saving those pennies though ,
or just come round mine for acup of tea and a nice sit down!
