Ideas for things to bring home from Brazil?

Hi
We’re off to Brazil next week, cannot wait! I always like to bring things back to remind me of places, does anyone have any ideas for brilliant souvenirs? Already on my list are
havianas
soaps and maybe perfume from Granado
something from Farm Rio
ideally some costume jewellery

thanks!

I bring back clothes, and sometimes food.

I've recently returned from Sri Lanka with 2 summer skirts, £8 each, and a jar of cashew nuts - using up currency at the airport.

A Brazilian canga which is like a sarong/lightweight towel. You can get some fantastic designs and I’ve used mine several times.

Cachaca to make caipirinhas.

Where are you visiting? Local stuff from different regions varies from leather goods (shoes, belts, bags especially) and chocolate from the Cowboy south, to carved wood ornaments in the amazon, to sea shell art and the amazing knitted hammocks by the beaches.

I brought back quite a few small arts and crafts (the stuff there is amazing and unique) and also some jewellery. H Stern is a big Brazilian brand that does lovely pieces using gemstones mined in Brazil, if that's your kind of thing.

Lots to buy here. Lots of cotton and linen clothing.

The Havaiana’s are also super cheap.

The market here has loads, it’s at the bottom of the elevator.

Iguazu has been flooding recently and is projected to be super strong for the next few months. So it should be an impressive show, but some walkways might be closed. It's an amazing sight to see, enjoy the trip!

I love guarana soft drink!

curious79 · 12/08/2026 17:20

Some jewellery? Brazil has incredible gems and some incredible jewellers

2026letsgo · 12/08/2026 17:25

I still have an actual Brazil nut - the Brazil nuts we eat are seeds and are still inside.
Also sand art which is amazing and you can watch people make it .
I bought home sugar rum in the wicker bottles that now has a candle in it.
And bikinis - made for me and dirt cheap.
