Best eurocamps?

Really considering giving one a go next year. We will have 7 & 4 year old boys next August and they like to be active!
Any recommendations on the best ones for that age? Do you have to hire a car for them? Or are there some close to the airport? Also food... How's the food there? Thanks in advance!

We went to a Euro Parc in The Netherlands near Efteling. It’s at Kaatsheuvel. The parc has two pools, mini golf, play areas. You can visit Efteling as well which is a bonus. We get the ferry and take the car so just drive there. It’s about 90 minutes from Amsterdam port.

There are so many! We’ve been to ones we’ve driven to and had use of the car throughout and ones we’ve flown to and managed without a car.
Can you narrow your requirements down to make it easier?
Their website is good as you are able to filter options.

We evolved to finding a campsite via Eurocamp but then booking direct with the campsite itself as usually a bit cheaper and the accommodation is much nicer.

Food varies- in France we shopped at the massive supermarket and cooked a lot ourselves.
in Italy we stayed on one site with about 8 restaurants and ate out a lot.

Some sites have been tiny but perfect when the children were small allowing them lots of freedom, others have been enormous with multiple waterparks, activities, entertainment and a private beach on site.

We’ve never not had a good time.
