Mosquito bites and pregnancy

Hi looking for some advice please. Currently on holiday in turkey and I’m 28 weeks pregnant. Absolutely covered in mosquito bites despite using a spray every night before we go out. Got about 2 hours sleep last night as my skin was itching unbearably all over, I’m covered in them! Any recommendations for a) a good repellent that is pregnancy safe and b) any kind of treatment that is safe for me to use to stop the itching - creams, antihistamines etc. There’s a pharmacy here I can go and look but I have no idea what’s safe to use at this stage. Thank you.

Piriton (chlorphenamine) is safe in pregnancy, I’d use that over any of the one a day type non-sedating antihistamines for bites generally as I think it’s much more effective.

If the pharmacy has it Fenistil is amazing for bites (antihistamine gel). That and antihistamine tablets usually work for me.
