October half term inspiration - warm, interesting!

It's so damp and horrible that I'm keen n Skyscanner looking for a break for October half term (last week in October).

I would like.....
Warmish (jeans and t shirt weather is fine), dryish, good food, interesting things to do, easy to get around, Europe/North Africa (3 ISH hours flight).

Some ideas: South of France, Italy, Montenegro, Albania, Morocco, Turkey, Spain (been to Seville, Cadiz and Málaga), Bosnia.

Anyone got any recommendations for that time of year?

In return, southern Spain is perfect for anyone wanting a warm escape at Feb half term.

We went to Malta in October half term a couple of years ago and I think covers everything you would like.

Lublijana and Lake Bled. If 15c ish is warm enough for you during the day? Went last year and loved it. Slovenia is stunning.

Sicily - Siracusa (Ortigia) and Taormina. Absolutely gorgeous and lots of things to do.

Admittedly I've never been there in October but I'd think the Algarve would fit the bill for that time of year?

was going to suggest Andalusia but see you’ve been to Seville, still leaves Granada and Cordoba in terms of larger places.

Malta as another pp suggested is a good shout.

Athens, with a few days on Hydra or similar?

Sorrento. You can easily do day trips to Pompeii and Herculaneum. We went in early November a few years ago and it was perfect weather. We even swam.

These are brilliant, thank you!
@DemonsandMosquitoes We've been to Slovenia in August but absolutely loved it so would go back.
@boys3 I'm very tempted by Granada and Cordoba - only thing against is that we've spent 2 holidays in the region. It's so nice though.
I need to read up on the other ideas now.
