Twilight Check in - Manchester

Hey! Looking for advice on Jet 2 Twilight check in at Manchester Airport. We are due to fly on Saturday at 7:15, with two children (3 and 1). We have 3 suitcases, 2 hand luggage bags and a double pram to push! I am tempted to do the twilight check in and drop bags the night before. Has anybody done this? If so what was your experience? TIA

I've done this several times. There are v few queues the night before, and it's good to sail past any long queues for morning flights and go straight to security. Most of it is self check-in now, so not as much queuing as there used to be.

You get your parking validated, so it doesn't cost to park either, which it used to.

Only once have we had an issue. We checked in the evening before our flight this year, then got an email and text in the morning from Jet2 to tell us we needed to still go to the check in desks. We did so and were told that there had been an IT issue which could have affected boarding passes. But because we had done check in the night before it didn't actually affect us.

I've just done this at Birmingham last week and found it really good. No queue at all and the next day we walked past the long queue and went straight through to security which was appreciated as our flight was 5:55am!

Yes we have done it before and it was good. If you are staying at the airport hotel it just means you need to be mindful of toiletries etc you will need for that evening, as you'll have to bring them in your hand luggage in the morning. We actually put our previous nights clothes and pyjamas in the car in the car park the following morning so we didn't have to put them in hand luggage. If you are staying at home then it's not an issue.

No problem whatsoever. Manchester airport is excellent.

We always do it. We live close to the airport . In the morning we go straight to security. Its really quick.

we have done this several times

We combine it with an airport hotel. (normally the holiday inn which is walking distance from all terminals)

Easy peasy
