Help my TA isn't Helpful

Booked a fly cruise and hotel package to Japan for June 26, the flights were originally via Qatar from Edinburgh I have been messaging TA now for 2.5 weeks to explore options for a new flight route. To start they said any change would be at my expense, when I challenged this they offered flights with extra day n night in Tokyo and 10 hour stop over in Istanbul and I had to pay £200. Again I challenged and latest offer is flights from Heathrow but they wont cover an Edi to Heathrow flights. I'm i right in thinking they should be covering us from and back to Edinburgh and not London. If not should they be offering a full refund, any help appreciated as the agent I speak to seems clueless and refuses to escalate my worries.

not cancelled but Foreign office advising no travel to Qatar so no insurance cover if you go

Ah well in that case you’d think need to provide a like for like alternative or a full refund. Assuming you made this booking before Trump started fucking about with Iran…

I would wait to see if these flights are cancelled nearer the time. You have more rights if the airline cancels and it remains their responsibility to get you to your destination.
